Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL B Local Delivery Driver to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport products to customers
  • Unload products from the trailer and place them in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Communicate with management to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B
  • One year of route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Customer service experience preferred
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent lifting of products up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting of up to 80 lbs. You must also be able to climb on and off the box of the truck and work in confined spaces.
