Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL B Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport products to customers
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, using a hand truck or other equipment as needed
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required
  • Communicate with customers and management to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class B
  • One year of experience as a truck driver, preferably in a local delivery role
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Customer service experience preferred
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires frequent lifting, bending, and standing. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
