Job Summary

Sysco is seeking a skilled CDL B Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, using a hand truck or other equipment as needed.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required.
  • Communicate with customers and management to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and safety standards, as established by the company.
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class B (Class A preferred)
  • One year of route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Customer service experience a plus
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires frequent lifting, bending, and standing. The driver will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity and safety standards.
