Job Overview

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Senior Manager to oversee critical cybersecurity functions. This role is essential in managing the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) and the 24/7 Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC), as well as spearheading Cyber Intelligence and Advanced Threat Hunting initiatives. The responsibilities encompass the entire cyber environment of Boeing, including global enterprise networks, manufacturing facilities, cloud services, and supply chain systems.

As a senior manager, you will be pivotal in shaping the direction and priorities of Cybersecurity Operations, ensuring alignment with the broader security strategy of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in leading cybersecurity operations within a large-scale corporation or agency, with a proven track record in developing operational metrics, standard procedures, and crisis management protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive information security monitoring and triage across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization to establish best practices for security orchestration.
  • Create and track metrics for the Cybersecurity Operations program.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring coverage around the clock.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with the cybersecurity monitoring program.
  • Stay informed on security trends and technologies, maintaining a proactive security posture.
  • Ensure the team’s competencies and training are up-to-date with current threats.
  • Facilitate tabletop exercises and mentor junior team leaders.
  • Represent cybersecurity operations in digital transformation initiatives.
  • Support compliance and audit functions related to the cybersecurity operations center.
  • Coordinate with legal and privacy offices regarding security monitoring.
  • Develop and implement departmental plans, budgets, and technical strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners.
  • Oversee technical approaches and processes within the department.
  • Foster developmental opportunities for team members.

Work Environment:

This position is hybrid, requiring some onsite work. The selected candidate will need to be adaptable to changing work requirements.

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in team leadership.
  • 10+ years of experience in a cross-functional environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity Operations Center.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing 24/7 operations.
  • Knowledge of risk management in information security.
  • Familiarity with incident response management and compliance strategies.
