About the Role

Cayuga Centers is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in NYC. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of unaccompanied children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for blood draws and explain procedures to ensure a smooth experience
  • Follow strict health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Verify patient information and label blood samples accurately
  • Update patient information in our database and maintain confidentiality
  • Collaborate with our medical team to provide exceptional care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant, EMT, Phlebotomist, Paramedic, or LPN required
  • Experience working with at-risk youth preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills essential
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole required
