Position Overview:
Radiologic Imaging Specialist
Location: Remote

Contract Duration: 3+ Months

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Responsibilities:

The Radiologic Imaging Specialist will conduct radiographic and mammographic imaging examinations and procedures at a technical level that does not require constant supervision, while working under the guidance of a radiologist or the ordering physician for diagnostic and potential treatment purposes.

The specialist will take on responsibilities for designated areas of departmental operations as per training and requirements.



Qualifications:

- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Certification in mammography is required
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Must possess an Iowa "Permit to Practice Mammography" or be eligible based on state requirements

Continuous Education:
- Must maintain continuing education standards to comply with the requirements of the "Permit to Practice" as established by the Iowa Department of Public Health and those mandated by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.



Work Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Important Compliance Requirements:
Before commencing the contract, the agency must provide proof of the following employment and health requirements:
- Recent employment references
- Verification of licensure or certification, including expiration dates and any disciplinary actions
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Immunization records including MMR, Varicella, Polio, Hepatitis B, TDaP, and COVID-19 vaccination
- Recent physical examination
- Drug screening and background checks
- Completion of mandatory education modules.
