Job Title: MRI Imaging Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging examinations and procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, but under the direction of the radiologist and/or ordering physician for diagnosis, and possibly treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform magnetic resonance imaging examinations and procedures
- Assume responsibility for designated areas of department operation as trained and required
- Meet the qualifications and requirements outlined below
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technology
- Currently registered, or registry-eligible, by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with completion and documentation of appropriate training requirements for MRI technology
- Currently registered, or registry-eligible for the Iowa Permit to Practice
- Or graduate of an accredited program for MRI Technologists
- Or currently registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in MRI with completion and documentation of continuing education as required
- Extensive knowledge of MRI safety
Working Conditions:
Full-time days. Monday through Friday 8:00a - 4:30p
