Ultrasound Technician Perinatal Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician Perinatal to join our team at Consultants in Obstetrics and Gynecology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply fetal ultrasound principles in the evaluation of fetal anomalies
  • Apply gynecological ultrasound principles in the evaluation of patients
  • Adapt to various ultrasound machines while maintaining high standards of sonography
  • Perform ultrasounds on maternal uterus, cervix, and ovaries
  • Perform complicated twin and triplet scans in conjunction with in-office multiple gestation service
  • Operate General Electric, Accuson, Medison, and ATL ultrasound machines with proficiency
  • Maintain ultrasound logging records, including past medical history, past surgical history, past obstetric history, and past genetic history
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including Level I & II ultrasounds, amniocentesis, lung maturity amniocentesis, PUBS, amino reduction, external cephalic version, and GYN ultrasound
  • Maintain professional relationships with other staff members, other obstetric offices, and hospital personnel
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Ultrasound required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
