Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech Perinatal to join our team at HCA HealthONE Mile High OB/GYN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply fetal ultrasound principles in the evaluation of fetal anomalies
  • Apply gynecological ultrasound principles in the evaluation of patients
  • Adapt to various ultrasound machines while maintaining high standards of sonography
  • Identify fetal anomalies, such as CNS, maxillofacial, cardiothoracic, abdomen, abdomen wall, genitourinary, extremity placental, umbilical cord growth disturbance
  • Perform ultrasounds on maternal uterus, cervix, and ovaries
  • Perform complicated twin and triplet scans in conjunction with in-office multiple gestation service
  • Identify gynecological anomalies such as fibroids, thickened endometrium, and polyps
  • Maintain ultrasound logging records, including past medical history, past surgical history, past obstetric history, and past genetic history
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including Level I & II ultrasounds, amniocentesis, lung maturity amniocentesis, PUBS, amino reduction, external cephalic version, and GYN ultrasound
  • Maintain professional relationships with other staff members, other obstetric offices, and hospital personnel
  • Exercise independent judgment when interpreting Biophysical Profiles designed to assess fetal well-being
  • Alert physicians of potentially dangerous conditions
  • Diagnose fetal weight disturbances based on fetal biometry
  • Diagnose multiple fetal anomalies and report and demonstrate them to physicians
Requirements
  • Associates degree in Ultrasound required
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • RDMS required
  • RDMS OB/GYN preferred
