Automotive Service Consultant

Grayson Automotive
The Automotive Service Consultant serves as the pivotal communication link for all service and repair operations, acting as the intermediary between clients and technicians.
As the primary contact for all automotive service inquiries, the Automotive Service Consultant must actively listen to and comprehend customer concerns, coordinate necessary services and repairs, and effectively manage expectations for both customers and technicians regarding service timelines.
It is essential for the consultant to ensure that customers are well-informed about required repairs and recommended maintenance. While bringing a vehicle in for service may not be a preferred task for customers, our consultants strive to ensure that clients feel confident their vehicle will be serviced correctly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, with additional post-secondary automotive training or relevant experience. A minimum of one year of experience in a dealership or large service facility is required, along with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. A strong background in technical knowledge and customer service is essential, with ASE certification being a valuable asset.
Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment, exhibit a positive demeanor, maintain a professional appearance, possess excellent communication skills, and deliver exceptional customer service.
