Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct complex legal and non-legal research and reference services, utilizing various information retrieval systems and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in legal research and computer-assisted research tools, ensuring proficiency in Westlaw, Lexis, and other relevant systems.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in selecting information sources, research methods, and document delivery options to meet client needs.
  • Provide ready reference services during assigned hours and as needed, ensuring seamless support to our team.
  • Develop targeted, custom current awareness and litigation alerts as requested by our clients and staff.
  • Participate in and coordinate orientation and training of new attorneys and staff as required.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Library and Information Sciences from an ALA-accredited program.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of experience as a professional research analyst or law librarian.
  • Strong knowledge of legal bibliography, legal research, and computer-assisted legal research.
  • Advanced knowledge of Westlaw, Lexis, and other computer-assisted research tools.
