Full Time Dispensing Nurse LVN Position

BAART Programs is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team as a Dispensing Nurse. The ideal candidate will work cooperatively with supervisory counseling staff and demonstrate a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward individuals with substance use disorder. Responsibilities include administering daily medication to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols, using automated dispensing systems, and maintaining dispensing equipment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for producing and maintaining appropriate records and reports, ensuring compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances, and ordering, receiving, and stocking medication. Additionally, the Dispensing Nurse will provide daily assessments of patients and assist the Nursing Supervisor in orienting new nursing staff. Qualifications include a current and good standing Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the State of California, current CPR certification, and experience in chemical dependency. The salary range for this position is $26.00 to $32.00 an hour, and BayMark offers excellent benefits, including 401K match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and paid time off.
