Dispensing Nurse

BAART Programs is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team as a Dispensing Nurse - LPN/LVN. In this role, you will work collaboratively with physicians and nursing supervisors to dispense prescribed medications to patients in a treatment setting.
Responsibilities:- Administer daily medications to patients in accordance with program policies and medical protocols.
- Maintain dispensing equipment, manage medication inventory, and report patient treatment information.
- Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances.
- Order, receive, and stock medication in accordance with DEA and State regulations.
- Provide daily assessments of patients and assist nursing supervisors with orienting new nursing staff.
- Current and good standing LPN/LVN license in the State of California.
- Current CPR certification required.
- EMR and computer proficiency desired.
- Experience in chemical dependency preferred.

BAART Programs is committed to providing a comfortable and supportive work environment for our employees. We offer a competitive salary range of $26.00 to $28.00 an hour, and the selected candidate's salary will be set based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, specialty, and training.
