Senior Fire Protection Specialist

This role serves as a lead designer on larger, more complex fire protection projects, responsible for completing complex calculations, drawings, and specifications related to fire suppression and detection systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the entire lifecycle of large projects as it pertains to fire protection, including layout, permit procurement, field surveys, coordination, creation of fabrication lists, answering and assisting with field-generated questions, RFI creation, and as-builts.
- Monitor long-term project deadlines and ensure deliverables are met.
- QC work done by less-experienced designers and mentor less-experienced team members.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Associate's Degree preferred.
- NICET III minimum.
- Strong PM skills, including creation of projections, FP design budget management, and ability to produce and follow change orders.
- Ability to manage multiple designers to meet deliverables, deadlines, and objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong prioritization skills.
- Strong MS Office Suite skills, including Excel and Word.
