Service Desk Technician

Job Summary:
Occam Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Technician to join our team. As a Service Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues, and ensuring that our systems are running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and instant messaging
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, MS Office applications, email, and other special applications
Document, track, and resolve problems and work orders using Remedy ticketing system
Create, modify, and delete user accounts via Active Directory and associated support tools
Determine which team can best resolve the problem and assign the task to the Desktop Support, Customer Support, Network Administration, or System Administration Teams when a solution cannot be provided telephonically
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network, system, and application software
Apprentice level technical knowledge of workstation hardware and Microsoft Technologies
Familiarity with Dameware and Terminal Services
Requirements:
DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification within 90 days of hire
Current TS/SCI
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification preferred
Special Operations Force experience preferred
