Direct Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at ServiceNet. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with brain injuries in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities such as eating, dressing, and using special equipment.
- Provide home support, including cooking meals, cleaning, doing laundry, shopping for groceries, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Transport residents to appointments, events, and other activities.
- Keep accurate records of daily activities and track important information.
- Support residents in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence.
- Administer medications once trained.
- Stay up-to-date with required training and certifications.
- Work collaboratively with the team and follow instructions from your manager.
Requirements:
- Kindness and a genuine desire to help others.
- No educational requirements; we will provide training.
- A valid driver's license for at least 6 months and a good driving record.
- The physical ability to perform all tasks and ensure the safety of residents.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use a computer.
- A background check is required.
