Role Responsibilities:

As the Technical Program Associate for Engineering at INGENIOUS.BUILD, you will gain the unique opportunity to serve as the primary resource for Engineering. You will collaborate closely with the VP of Engineering and Product on enhancing processes, educating teams on both new and established procedures, and working cross-functionally to ensure seamless communication across the organization.

Your responsibilities will include managing multiple process-oriented projects within the Engineering department, providing assistance with technical issues related to devices, hardware, and software, and coordinating various administrative tasks assigned by the VP of Engineering and Product.

We seek a proactive problem solver who can drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Duties Include:

  • Facilitating project management for cross-functional products to ensure timely delivery.
  • Developing metrics to assess impact and promote internal process enhancements.
  • Identifying dependencies and formulating mitigation strategies.
  • Regularly communicating planning, project status, challenges, and risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Supporting and sharing best practices regarding Scrum processes within delivery teams.
  • Leading initiatives to create and manage multiple Jira and Scrum projects aimed at process optimization.
  • Observing teams to pinpoint opportunities for defining project scope, requirements, and delivery.
  • Assisting with daily administrative operations as directed by the VP of Product and Engineering.
  • Acting as a liaison among cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication of priorities across various projects and tasks.
  • Employing a data-driven approach to generate Jira reports for enhanced collaboration within teams and leadership.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement to enhance developer delivery and future collaboration.
  • Partnering in training and educating teams on new and existing processes, assisting them in adhering to procedures through comprehensive documentation and open communication.
  • Collaborating closely with the VP of Engineering to implement innovative technologies and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Previous experience in IT support or similar roles within a startup or SaaS environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, Ubuntu), and network protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Prior experience in a startup setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Vanta.
