Job Description

This is a high-impact position within our organization, seeking a professional with technical and business experience who can thrive in our culture. As a Branch Manager at ServiceMaster Of the Southside 5422, you will be responsible for implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations, including production, procurement, and planning.
  • Ensure timely and accurate management of work order processes, business information, and licensing management.
  • Participate in the development of operational and business strategies, supporting the CEO's vision and process ideals.
  • Conduct onsite field evaluations for compliance, escalating opportunities for improvements/corrections to ownership.
  • Coordinate with sales management to deliver on commitments to customers, and may be involved in the sales process on selected accounts.
  • Provide direct support to office personnel, technicians, and sales associates regarding customer escalations, technical questions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee and review daily operational and compliance metrics, as well as the escalation, tracking, and resolution of issues.
  • Supervise production staff members, estimators, and claims coordinators.
  • Influence vendor selection and manage ongoing vendor relationships.
  • Approve expenses and purchases of direct reports.
  • Communicate with employees to ensure delivery times are met.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Manage team growth and success, providing guidance to employees.
  • Manage internal assets, including equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Plan, schedule, and review workload and manpower to meet targets on a cost-effective basis.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business processes and federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present training and/or information to groups of managers, employees, customers, and clients.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Skilled in using computers and necessary technology, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience using Xactimate and XactAnalysis, utilizing reports to improve operations.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a sales or service manager or corporate support function preferred.
  • Ability to work closely with, influence, and hold senior leaders accountable to resolving issues or capitalizing on opportunities.
  • Ability to engage and motivate others to drive results.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Experience in negotiating with suppliers/sub-contractors/vendors.
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles.
  • Knowledge of organizational improvement and operations management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with proven ability and work experience as a Branch Manager or similar role.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Understanding of consumer psychology, organizational behavior, and knowledge of the restoration industry.
