About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team in the Midwest region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with top school partners in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve financial targets and drive business growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, curriculum leaders, and district librarians
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations
  • Represent Gale at industry events and conferences, showcasing our products and services
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer services, and product development, to drive sales and customer success
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience in the school market or equivalent
  • Detailed and verifiable history of achieving new business goals and creating sales strategies
  • Outstanding CRM skills, with experience in Salesforce
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to adapt sales approach to suit customer needs and product offerings
