International Friendships, Inc. (IFI) is a growing faith-based organization committed to extending life-changing hospitality and friendship to international college students.
We are seeking a highly skilled Career Coach & Employment Coordinator to join our Central Ohio ministry team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding employers to offer internships to international students enrolled in our ISEED program, mentoring and helping them prepare and interview for jobs, and assisting the Internship Program Manager with overall coordination of the program.
Responsibilities- Build relationships with employers: Identify and establish connections with local businesses and organizations that can provide internship opportunities for international students.
- Mentor international students: Provide guidance and support to international students in preparing for and interviewing for jobs, as well as teaching professional work habits and preparing them for the marketplace.
- Administer the ISEED program: Assist the Internship Program Manager with the day-to-day operations of the program, including coordinating logistics and providing administrative support.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of work experience in the professional marketplace, a Bachelor's degree, and cross-cultural experience. They will also be able to work under stress, be flexible, and enjoy working with people. Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications, is a must.
