We are seeking a skilled Psychotherapist to join our team at Changing Lives at Home Mental Health Inc. as an independent contractor. The successful candidate will provide high-quality psychotherapy services to clients in a community-based outpatient treatment setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess clients and develop, evaluate, and modify treatment plans in conjunction with the medical director.
- Provide individual or group therapy, including psychotherapy, supportive therapy, or crisis intervention, to various populations and age groups.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatric nurse practitioners, community integration workers, and other counselors.
- Advise the program director on the development and implementation of rehabilitation services to meet the needs of individuals served by the program.
- Possess a master's degree in counseling, psychology, or social work.
- Have at least one year of experience in psychotherapy/counseling adults and minors with mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders.
- Be Maryland licensed in one of the following disciplines: LCSW-C, LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, or LGPC.
- Be COVID vaccinated or have the first dose scheduled and documented.
The Psychotherapist sets their own schedule to render contract services to the program, with suggested hours of operation from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
