Job Description

Verify is seeking a skilled Source Inspector to conduct inspections at supplier locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics commodities and defense requirements, with experience in reviewing supplier PO's and required certifications.

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications.
  • Travel to various supplier facilities to perform inspections, reporting findings directly to the customer via web application.
  • Inspect RF and Microwave Assemblies, and other complex machine parts, assemblies, and composite parts.
  • Apply knowledge of GD&T per ANSI Y. 14.5 and tight tolerance requirements.
  • Work as an independent contractor (1099) with a strong understanding of LLC/DBA or ability to obtain an LLA/DBA.
Required Skills
  • Minimum 5 years mechanical source inspection experience, with 2 years in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of FAI experience to AS9102.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience inspecting complex machine parts, assemblies, and composite parts.
  • Knowledge of GD&T per ANSI Y. 14.5 and tight tolerance requirements.
  • Mobile phone availability and own laptop with email and internet access for on-site use.
