Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

Join our team at Twin Cities Orthopedics as a Physical Therapist Assistant, where you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our outpatient orthopedic setting.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to assist our Physical Therapists in providing therapeutic healthcare services to patients. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our team to deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment and outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Physical Therapists in providing treatment to patients, including preparing and completing daily notes and communicating with patients and families.
  • Prepare and set up modalities, including ultrasound, laser, traction, and other equipment, as directed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Provide indicated therapeutic massage and other manual therapy treatments as established in the therapy plan of care.
  • Observe patients and evaluate data on patient progress, instructing families and caregivers as needed.
  • Perform PTA duties, including direct patient interaction during aquatic therapy appointments.
  • Answer phones, order supplies, and complete forms as needed.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree from an accredited PTA program or equivalent experience.
  • Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of MN or state in which practicing.
  • Ability to work in a clinic setting, including therapeutic bromine pool environment.
