Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease.
  • Develop and implement personalized physical therapy programs to meet the unique needs of each client/patient/resident.
  • Utilize a range of tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions, ensuring the highest level of care and safety.
  • Document client/patient/resident information, establish therapeutic plans, and modify them as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to clients/patients/residents and their family members on treatment plans, schedules, and self-exercises to be continued at home.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in physical therapy, incorporating this knowledge into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents.
Requirements
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
