Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Select Medical. As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our telemetry department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes or alarms.
  • Verify correct identification of basic rhythms, lethal rhythms, and artifact, and maintain EKG monitor alarms as needed.
  • Complete EKG interpretations, including rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QTI, QTc, ST segment, waveform alterations, and rhythm interpretation.
  • Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training.
