This role is part of our Multimedia Design Group, responsible for creating engaging experiences for our technical staff, lab leaders, and public relations strategists. As a Storytelling Design Specialist, you'll work closely with our team to craft compelling visual communications, presentations, and multimedia products that showcase our cutting-edge research and innovations.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft captivating stories and visuals that bring complex ideas to life
  • Collaborate with our team to design and develop multimedia products, including presentations, animations, videos, and interactive experiences
  • Work closely with technical staff, lab leaders, and public relations strategists to understand their needs and develop effective communication strategies
  • Prioritize multiple projects, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve our products and services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of experience in design, storytelling, or communications
  • Portfolio showcasing your creative work and ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Ability to acquire a Top Secret level security clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
