Job Title: Court Reporter

Business Support Services of Salem is seeking a skilled Court Reporter to provide verbatim reporting of Social Security hearings for the Office of Hearings Operations (OHO).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate recording equipment to ensure accurate testimony capture.
  • Produce complete and accurate transcripts/recording of administrative hearings.
  • Gather and distribute exhibits and supporting materials during hearings.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Ability to operate office equipment, including copiers and fax machines.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Must type 60 WPM.
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • Training available, previous experience not necessary.
Job Type:
