Job Title: Technical Trainer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to join our team at GForce Life Sciences. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that equip engineers with the knowledge and communication skills needed to effectively collaborate with sales representatives in the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development: Design and implement training programs that educate engineers on product specifications, regulatory requirements, and effective collaboration with sales teams.
- Sales Enablement: Teach engineers how to assist sales reps in client-facing scenarios by providing in-depth product knowledge and addressing technical questions.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration between engineering and sales departments to align on product features, customer needs, and market demands.
- Technical Communication: Train engineers to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences, including customers and sales teams.
- Product Knowledge: Develop deep expertise in medical devices and related technologies, keeping training materials up to date with new advancements and regulatory changes.
- Field Support: Prepare engineers to accompany sales reps in client meetings, providing technical demonstrations and support during product presentations.
- Feedback and Evaluation: Gather feedback from engineers and sales reps to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure engineers are well-versed in industry standards (FDA, ISO 13485, etc.) and can communicate how regulatory compliance enhances product reliability and safety.
- Training Resources: Create and maintain comprehensive training guides, resources, and assessments to track progress and ensure retention of key concepts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in the medical device industry, with hands-on experience in engineering and/or sales support.
- Proven track record in developing and delivering technical training programs.
- Strong knowledge of medical device regulations, product development lifecycle, and quality management systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with both engineering and sales teams.
- Experience in instructional design and training evaluation methods is a plus.
