We are seeking a highly experienced Tech Tax Senior Manager to join our Orange County, CA office. As a key member of our Technology and Emerging Growth team, you will play a lead role in tax engagements, supervise/mentor staff, and build/maintain relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve growth goals in revenue, team head count, and key ecosystem relationships
- Collaborate with the national practice to drive technology and emerging growth opportunities in the Southern California marketplace
- Assist in establishing and achieving specific revenue and service growth goals for the region
- Participate in strategy sessions, marketing calls, and events with the regional and National technology team
- Work with industry and service line engagement teams to ensure resources and deliverables are provided to technology clients
- Provide insight into the technology landscape and communicate it to firm leadership
- Provide thought leadership to the Southern California technology market
- Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution
- CPA, JD, LLM, or MST required
- Minimum 8+ years of professional services experience required
- Extensive experience with C-Corp Form 1120 tax filing entities and ASC 740 tax provisions
- Industry knowledge within the Technology/Startup and Emerging Growth sector a plus
- Demonstrated strategic leadership, process creation, and project management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and be a resource to other team members
We offer a competitive benefits package and bonus program based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors, including the specific role, hiring location, and individual skills, experience, and qualifications.
California State ranges are from $125,000 - $235,000.
