Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corrosion Management Specialist to join our team at Oscar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and corrosion management, with a proven track record in project management and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Corrosion Management:
    • Evaluate and implement methods to minimize corrosion in steam and condensate pipelines.
    • Develop and improve processes to reduce corrosion effects and enhance equipment design.
  • Project Oversight:
    • Manage projects aimed at enhancing corrosion monitoring and mitigation strategies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Field and Office Work:
    • Conduct field assessments and inspections to identify corrosion-related issues and assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
    • Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making and process improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to corrosion management.
    • Lead initiatives to modify existing processes and develop new strategies for corrosion reduction.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, specifically with a focus on corrosion management.
    • Proven track record in project management and process improvement.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Willingness to relocate to Geysers, CA.
    • Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
