We seek a seasoned Product Owner with AI or machine learning product experience to join our team at American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities. This position involves defining AI capabilities, collaborating with business leaders and developers, and managing change to ensure smooth adoption of new AI features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with upper management and stakeholders to define product vision, 3-year product roadmap, release plan, and backlog.
  • Maintain product-specific project plans and negotiate product feature requirements.
  • Ensure product quality and information security requirements are met.
  • Translate requirements into overall system design.
  • Coordinate product software releases and resolve product defects.
  • Lead the team in using agile methodologies, including Scrum, to improve team effectiveness.
  • Translate technical jargon to train internal teams and key stakeholders on product features, emphasizing business benefits.
  • Work collaboratively to manage the product platform with Architecture, Security Liaison, and the Platform Director.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with third-party databases, libraries, interfaces, and internet protocols.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency with software engineering tools and related technologies.
  • Ability to facilitate and resolve disagreements over scope, design, and requirements.
  • Knowledge of hardware, software, and network setup.
  • Ability to articulate both marketing and IT needs/issues to all groups.
  • Strong knowledge of technology skills and information technology techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of iterative/agile development methodologies.
