Business Development Manager

Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the mortgage lending industry
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify and target potential clients, including mortgage brokers, real estate professionals, and financial institutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored mortgage lending solutions
- Partnership Development:
- Establish and nurture partnerships with industry stakeholders, including real estate agencies, title companies, and legal firms
- Collaborate with partners to create mutually beneficial referral programs and joint marketing initiatives
- Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue objectives by actively prospecting and closing new business deals
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, including tracking and reporting on sales activities
- Product Knowledge and Compliance:
- Stay current on mortgage lending products, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with underwriters, loan officers, and other internal teams to facilitate a seamless client onboarding and loan processing experience
- Provide feedback and insights to enhance product offerings and customer satisfaction
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, loan origination processes, and industry regulations
- Strong network of industry contacts and relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Proven track record of success in business development within the mortgage lending industry
