Front Desk Manager

The Courtyard by Marriott Evansville East is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee the Front Office and Guest Services, ensuring a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests.
This role involves directing and guiding the activities of the Front Desk and Guest Services teams, ensuring accurate communication and follow-up on any problems, guest requests, and special requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee Front Office staff, ensuring accurate communication and follow-up on any problems, guest requests, and special requirements.
- Ensure the smooth registration and cashiering functions of the Front Office.
- Reviews daily arrivals, group needs, and room assignments and coordinates with the Housekeeping Department.
- Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
- Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction, and wellbeing of hotel guests and employees when senior management is not available.
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Prior hotel front desk experience. Prior experience as a Department Head is advantageous.
- Strong supervisory and managerial skills are essential with outstanding demonstrated coaching and development skills.
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, good problem solving ability and proficiency in hotel property management systems.
