Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the execution of technology strategies across platforms, partnerships, and external collaborations.

  • Assist guests with their technical needs and resolve any related issues.
  • Oversee the operations necessary to maintain the technology infrastructure in a smooth, efficient, and compliant manner.
  • Manage compliance with PCI and PII regulations to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct engaging and relevant training sessions for staff to enhance their technical skills.
  • Lead, mentor, and support IT personnel; facilitate weekly meetings to foster professional growth and success.
  • Represent the organization in IT forums and meetings as required.
  • Establish and uphold procedures for hardware and system familiarization.
  • Ensure robust network support and security, including Active Directory and server infrastructure maintenance, as well as network protection and failover tools implementation.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements in the hospitality sector.
  • Remain informed about security technology trends and competitive solutions through ongoing training and workshops.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Executive Director, CFO, and Managing Director.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees the Director of Computer Services, Director of Computer Systems, and Computer Services Assistant.

Qualifications:

A degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, or a suitable combination of education and experience. A minimum of 5 years in an IT supervisory capacity, with a solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks and PC connectivity issues. Proficient in Microsoft infrastructure services and server systems, with knowledge of TCP/IP, MS Exchange, MS ISA, and group policy. Familiarity with hotel systems and telecommunication systems is advantageous. In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies is essential. Exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are necessary to ensure high productivity and guest satisfaction. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and willingness to travel as needed. Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, when required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with 70% of the time spent sitting and 30% walking, standing, or bending. Good hearing and manual dexterity are required, along with distance vision of 1-3 feet. Must be able to work in various weather conditions and possess the ability to drive a golf cart and rent a car.
