Medical Care Assistant

At American Health Partners, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our geriatric patients who are experiencing mental health crises or behavioral disturbances.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a mental health, patient care, or geriatric setting, with a strong focus on providing direct patient care under the supervision of nurses. Responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, as well as completing admission paperwork and patient orientation to the hospital.
We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our patients, and we are seeking a team member who shares our values. The successful candidate will be required to complete CMS Restraint and Seclusion training and will be expected to work flexible hours, including unscheduled overtime, after-hours, and weekends.
