Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health Spanish Fork Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for conducting medical imaging examinations and diagnostic procedures with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical imaging examinations and diagnostic procedures with attention to detail and patient safety.
  • Prepare patients for exams, ensuring proper identification and order verification.
  • Explain procedures to patients and families, alleviating anxiety and facilitating cooperation.
  • Perform radiologic exams that produce high-quality images, adhering to radiation protection guidelines.
  • Utilize sterile technique for invasive procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment.
  • Recognize emergent situations and respond promptly and appropriately.
  • Accurately complete documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
  • Communicate effectively with patient care providers and maintain a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
  • ARRT registration.
  • Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • Preferred qualifications include IV Certification and Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist completion.
Physical Requirements

Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking.
