We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health Spanish Fork Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for conducting medical imaging examinations and diagnostic procedures with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct medical imaging examinations and diagnostic procedures with attention to detail and patient safety.
- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring proper identification and order verification.
- Explain procedures to patients and families, alleviating anxiety and facilitating cooperation.
- Perform radiologic exams that produce high-quality images, adhering to radiation protection guidelines.
- Utilize sterile technique for invasive procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Recognize emergent situations and respond promptly and appropriately.
- Accurately complete documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
- Communicate effectively with patient care providers and maintain a collaborative team environment.
- ARRT registration.
- Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Preferred qualifications include IV Certification and Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist completion.
