Canyon View Medical Group is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As an X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for taking pictures of the body using various imaging methods. Your primary goal will be to ensure the patient's safety during the imaging procedure.

The ability to produce high-quality images consistently is crucial for providing accurate diagnoses. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Maintaining radiology supplies inventory by checking stock levels and anticipating needed supplies.
  • Complying with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

You will also be responsible for preparing patients for radiological procedures, minimizing radiation exposure, and protecting patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology, be registered and certified as a Radiologic Technologist (RT), and be licensed by the state of Utah as a Radiographer.
