About Our Team
We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Sensory Gym Coach to join our team at Tender Touch Therapy LLC. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with autism and other sensory needs.

Job Summary:
This is a full-time position responsible for creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment that fosters learning and sensory experiences for children with autism and other sensory needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing project and activity curriculum, managing reservations, supervising the gym, and working with children with aggressive behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement project and activity curriculum to meet the diverse needs of our members.
  • Manage reservations, prepare for children's arrival, and ensure a smooth experience for all guests.
  • Supervise the gym to maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to our high standards.
  • Work with children with aggressive behaviors, such as biting, scratching, and hitting, using positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Set-up and clean-up of projects in the arts and crafts area, promoting creativity and self-expression.
  • Promote services, classes, and special events to increase member engagement and satisfaction.
  • Offer personalized member service, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer care.
  • Make equipment and supply recommendations to enhance our sensory offerings.
  • Perform housework related to childcare, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for all.


Physical Demands:
The successful candidate must be able to perform constant physical activities, including sitting, standing, walking, and reaching. Frequent exposure to household cleaning products is also required. Standard office equipment use is routine.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess enthusiasm to work with all children, previous experience working with children, a high school diploma or equivalent, and pre-employment screening (background check, CPR certification).
