At Patient First, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated X-ray Technologist to join our team in Woodbury, NJ. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
Responsibilities:- Obtain high-quality x-rays using correct positioning and radiation exposure techniques.
- Implement safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure for patients, staff, and self.
- Document x-ray images and create CD copies according to Patient First guidelines.
- Operate and maintain x-ray equipment, including processing and imaging devices.
- Use the automated medical records system to manage patient information and billing.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Assist with other duties as needed, including cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Keyboarding experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- One year of clerical experience preferred.
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Licensed to practice in Diagnostic Radiography by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
