Radiology Technician - Ambulatory Surgery Center

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at the Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing radiographic imaging in the operating room during intra-operative procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate x-ray equipment (C-Arm) and ensure proper connectivity with intraoperative PACS and RIS systems.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other OR staff to ensure radiology guidance is available and appropriate for specific OR cases.
  • Conduct routine quality control checks on C-Arm equipment and maintain cleanliness of the equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience as a Radiology Technician, with specific experience in C-Arm operation.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiology program.
  • Licensure by the New Jersey State Department of Environmental Protection.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to maintain current knowledge of RIS and PACS computer systems.
