Currently, McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is seeking a Full-time Healthcare Provider Assistant to provide flexible support across its Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs in various regional facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate client admissions to diverse substance use disorder treatment options, with a primary focus on MAT services.
- Perform thorough medical evaluations, including gathering medical and substance use histories as well as conducting physical examinations.
- Request necessary medical tests and medications, evaluate medical issues, and provide appropriate referrals.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with a valid North Carolina PA or NP License, full unrestricted DEA licensure, access to the NC controlled substances database, and experience in EKG interpretation.
