Job Opportunity

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive substance use disorder treatment in western North Carolina. We are seeking a Full-time Physician Assistant to join our team and contribute to our mission of building a foundation of healing and hope based on equity, education, and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Admit clients to substance use disorder treatment modalities, primarily Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services.
  • Conduct medical assessments, including medical and substance use histories and physical exams.
  • Order medical tests and medications, as well as assess medical problems and provide referrals.
Requirements
  • Valid North Carolina PA or NP License.
  • Full unrestricted DEA licensure.
  • NC controlled substances database access.
  • Experience in EKG interpretation.
