Job Title: Guest Services Representative/Call CenterJob Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Guest Services Representative to join our Admissions Department at Jones Technical Institute (J-Tech). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling interviews with prospective students, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the growth of our school population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure prompt and effective communication with prospective students via phone, text message, and email.
  • Utilize admissions tools, such as phone calls, texting, and appointment reminder cards, to follow up with prospective students until they have been interviewed.
  • Learn and become proficient in the Verity client management software system to record accurate data and support all departments.
  • Achieve individual minimum appointment setting, interview, and PDL/Referral generation goals established by the President.
  • Collaborate with the admissions team to achieve daily, monthly, and campaign goals.
  • Initiate referral interviews and maintain effective communication with the admissions team and management team.
  • Complete daily and weekly reports on performance activity as required.
  • Participate in monthly or quarterly product knowledge meetings and continuous individual and group training sessions.
  • Represent the college in a professional and positive manner by attending and participating in various recruitment functions on site as requested.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.
  • Previous call center, customer service, or appointment setting experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to problem solve proactively, and organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • The ability to exhibit excellent customer service and work in an open, team environment is required.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to sit for eight to ten hours while communicating in a call center environment.
