Responsibilities

* Evaluate and identify the needs of the organization and stakeholders and oversee complex sourcing IT projects.
* Define clear and specific requirements for equipment and services required; research suppliers and direct the sourcing process.
* Implement necessary processes and procedures to ensure effective and fair procurement practice within the organization.
* Manage staff and ensure project timelines and departmental goals are met.
* Identify needs and reduce unwanted product/service demand.
* Develop and maintain professional business relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain a supplier database.

Requirements

* Minimum of 4 years in a related area as an individual contributor and minimum 2 years of related supervisory experience.
* Experience with IT contracts is preferred.
* Experience negotiating pricing, terms, and service level agreements.
* Knowledge of industry standards and proficient with Procurement tools and procure-to-pay and sourcing processes.
* Knowledge of data centers, MSPs, IT security, and cloud storage is a plus.
