Key Responsibilities:


As an Asset Reliability Specialist, you will engage in the evaluation and participation of capital initiatives to ensure comprehensive cost analysis is performed. You will take ownership of and enhance the preventive and predictive maintenance frameworks while systematically identifying and mitigating production inefficiencies and equipment failures through Risk-Based Asset Management and Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM).

Your role will involve spearheading initiatives to guarantee the reliability and maintainability of machinery, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems.

Professionally and methodically define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an Asset Maintenance Strategy that encompasses value-added preventive maintenance activities and effective application of predictive and non-destructive testing techniques aimed at pinpointing and isolating intrinsic reliability issues.
Conduct value analysis for repair/replacement, repair/redesign, and make/buy determinations.
Utilize MFMEA methodologies within the operational sites.

Approach:
Minimize asset reliability risks associated with new projects and existing resources.
Develop and validate Master Routines per technology (MR) incorporating feedback from operational sites supported by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Standardize Master Routines.
Establish long-term governance for Master Routines.
Optimize preventive maintenance routines.
Support MFMEA and root cause investigations.
Act as a liaison between Technology SMEs and Plant Maintenance Engineers.
Optimize spare parts inventory.
Provide engineering maintenance assistance to the operational sites.
Implement the predictive maintenance master plan at the facilities.
Deliver training to predictive maintenance technicians.
Contribute to the formulation of design and installation specifications alongside commissioning plans.

Engage in the development of criteria for evaluating equipment and technical MRO suppliers and maintenance service providers. Participate in the final validation of new installations, including factory and site acceptance testing to ensure compliance with functional specifications.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering capacity is required.
5 years of experience in reliability engineering processes is essential.
Certification as a Maintenance and Reliability Professional is preferred.
Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is necessary, with Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt certification being advantageous.
Proficient in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) processes, Asset Management, and condition monitoring principles, tools, and applications.
Expertise in maintenance and reliability, material management, planning and scheduling, and/or CMMS/EAM/ERP optimization is desired.
Familiarity with popular CMMS solutions such as Maximo 7.6, SAP Maintenance, and Prisma is required.
Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to engage in public speaking and instruct large groups.
