FINANCIAL OPERATIONS INTERN

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Hourly

WAGE SCALE: $20.00 / Hourly

LOCATION: Sacramento, CA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the evaluation of credit and collection methodologies, pinpointing opportunities for enhancement and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Engage with general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee legal accounts, retention accounts, delinquent accounts, returned checks, and credit card disputes.
  • Generate and interpret reports to aid in the oversight and recovery of accounts receivable.
  • Assist in the compilation of financial statements for PABCO and its affiliated entities.
  • Monitor and upload accounts receivable for newly integrated businesses.
  • Help maintain credit limits on contracts and open accounts.
  • Participate in daily treasury functions and reconcile accounts receivable ledger accounts as necessary.
  • Engage in extensive communication with clients, sales teams, and various locations.
  • Handle various administrative tasks, including but not limited to filing, reporting for union benefits, audits, and maintaining contractor licenses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate with a degree in Business, preferably with a focus on Accounting or Finance.
  • Demonstrated customer service and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Consistent attendance is essential.
  • Possession of a valid CA Driver's License.
