Medical Oncology Specialist Wanted for Hospital/ Clinic Position

We are seeking a skilled Medical Oncology Physician to join our team in Cortlandt Manor, NY.

Compensation: $330 per hour

Job Description:

This position involves providing medical oncology services in a hospital/clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience and be board certified. A fellowship in breast cancer is highly desirable.

The schedule includes Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, with the possibility of infusion coverage until 5:30pm one or twice a week. Clinical hours are blocked during unassigned call weeks to ensure the provider's ability to manage both responsibilities.

Additionally, this role may involve one weekend call and one week of unassigned hospital call per month. Call will be a combination of in-house and phone calls.

The team works closely with two RN navigators and a medical assistant (MA) who covers lab draws and assists patients' needs. We also have an NP working full-time and a .5 NP shared with Radiation Oncology starting in November.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Board certification in medical oncology
  • 2 years of experience in medical oncology
  • Breast cancer fellowship training (highly desired)
