Medical Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Specialist to join our team at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for managing health problems and coordinating care for Oncology/Hematology patients in alignment with State and Federal regulations and nursing standards of care.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient status.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients preoperatively and manage postoperative clinical care.
  • Deliver patient-centered care focused on improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure or Physician Assistant License.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in Oncology/Hematology (helpful but not required).
  • Strong computer skills; experience with EMR is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred.

  • Starting Salary: $180,000/year based on experience.
