**Job Title:** Caregiver - Medication Administration Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate caregiver to join our team as a Medication Administration Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents by providing accurate and timely medication administration.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver routine daily medications to residents in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure seamless medication administration and patient care.
- Record medication dosages and times accurately and efficiently.
- Observe patients for changes in condition and document accordingly.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to all health and safety standards.
- Respond promptly to patient emergency call signals and provide assistance as needed.
- Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.
- Physical fitness and attention to detail essential.
Estimated Salary:** $35,000 - $45,000 per year
