About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Project Specialist to join our team at Select Source International (SSI). As a Project Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting product/project teams.

In this role, you will maintain master schedules, resources, and project budget. You will track, manage, and facilitate the resolution of project risks and issues. Additionally, you will process and maintain design control documentation and Design History Files, per procedures.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in engineering or science. You will be responsible for drafting core team-specific design control documents (e.g., project plans, traces) for team review and coordinating design reviews, deliverables, and reviews information. You will ensure action items are resolved and documented.

You will interact with team members, including senior-level staff, in driving the completion of deliverables. You will communicate status of project deliverables to core team leader, team members, and stakeholders.

Salary: $38/hour

Location: San Diego, CA 92121

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Project Management coursework or certification a plus.
  • Trained in Design Control procedures preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft Outlook, spreadsheets, and word processing in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Excellent organization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact effectively with personnel from top to bottom of the organization with diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
